‘Brighter by the Day: Waking Up to New Hopes and Dreams’ by Robin Roberts

In her memoir, the “Good Morning America” co-anchor shares how the power of positive thinking has propelled her through challenging times.

The book teaches readers how to create a happy mindset, move optimism from principle to practice, and create a life of joy. However, Roberts wants to be clear: Maintaining a positive outlook isn’t always easy. “I don’t like to give the impression that this will be simple,” she says. “Like, ‘If you just do these five things, your life will turn around.’ It takes work, but it’s work that you should welcome.”
