NAVY PIER – A LOCAL\’= S GUIDE.

=E2=80=8BSO MANY THINGS TO DO FOR ALL= AGES

Navy Pier is full of lots of things to= do year-round.  In the fall, when it=E2=80=99s cooler we visit the&nb= sp;Chicago Child= ren=E2=80=99s Museum at Navy Pier (NP). If you have babies a= nd toddlers and live in the city I highly recommend a museum membership WIT= H Parking!  This museum can be a refuge in the cold longer Chicago win= ter and parking gets expensive and the bus rides can be long.  Buying = the membership with parking gets you FREE parking year round even when you = don=E2=80=99t visit the museum.  During this visit= we grabbed lunch at a delicious, new restaurant, Reunion.&nbs= p; Everything was delicious but with LOVED their drop biscuits.  The f= ood choices at NP continue to get better each year.  The quality has i= mproved but the prices have increased too!  There\’s also a Rainbow Cone there! = We love the Centennial wheel and the other outdoor attractions whe= n it\’s nice out.  But our usual go-to has always been the amazing… Chicago Children\’s Museum! My kids loved the newest addition the = Cloud Buster — maybe it\’s been around a while but we haven\’t been= in over 2 years so it felt new to us! It\’s a climbing structure that goes = up 37 feet.  Each climb produces a unique experience on the way up and= down. There other favorite is they building area where= they can make their own skyscraper in the Skyline exhibit, once their masterpiece is complete they get to put it on display a= long with all the other ones created that day.

The other exhibit they LOVE is the Tinker= Lab! You have to get a ticket for entry at the Tinker Lab exhibi= t as they have limited operating hours and limited admittance but it\’s free= and you can usually get in during you visit if you grab a ticket when you = arrive and  plan to join at the designated time.
